The MAV - Mono Axial Vehicle is a project aimed at building a 2 wheeled balancing vehicle that can function as a human transporter as well as autonomously.

 

Electrical

The MAV electronics boards are assembled into a stack which is then inserted into a custom steel box.

The long red and black cable coming out of the box goes to the 24Volt battery pack, while the two shorter red and black cables go to the motors.  The two small connectors with grey cables go to the keyswitch, the handlebar joystick, the two wire bus, as well as the RS-232 connector on the MAV's front plate.
